Adding Secondary IPs Win 2003 and 2008

To add aditional IP addresses in Windows 2003/2008:

  1. Browse to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections.
  2. Right-click Local Area Connection2 and select Categories.
  3. Right-click Internet Protocol, then right-click Properties and select Advanced.
  4. Click Add" in the IP addresses section.
  5. Enter the IP address and Subnet mask for each IP you wish to add.
  6. Click OK.


Repeat this process until all IPs are added.

Open a DOS prompt to verify:

  1. Click Start > Run
  2. Enter cmd and press ENTER.
  3. At the prompt, type ipconfig /all.
  4. Press Enter.
