How to transfer files from one server to another in Windows
To transfer files in Windows, you will first want to download a viable SFTP/FTP client. A popular client used for file transfer protocol is WinSCP. You can download it here:
You can also choose to transfer files in Windows from one server to another without using a FTP client. Here's how you do it:
In Windows Explorer type:
c$ specifies the C drive. If there's multiple drives you'd like to access, you will need to indicate the destination drive (ex: d = d$, g = g$, etc). This will map drive C to the server from which you ran the command. Following this command you will want to open a window to click and drag files from the mapped drive to the server you are on.
